This represents the thesis project by Rachel F. Newton. Fieldwork was conducted during the summers of 2005 and 2006. Lakes, rivers, springs, and wetlands on BLM lands throughout the state were inventoried. Collected were 7,502 specimens documenting 1,040 unique taxa. Species of conservation concern totaled 18 documented at 27 sites. Also vouchered were 110 exotics including 17 noxious weeds. Funding was provided by the Bureau of Land Management and the University of Wyoming.
