  1. Colville National Forest and Vicinity: This is the subject of a recently completed M.S. thesis (1997, A Floristic Inventory of the Vascular Plants of the Western Colville National Forest and Vicinity, Washington) by Jean Wood. Over 7,700 collections were obtained representing 902 taxa. Thirty sensitive taxa were documented by a total of 51 occurrences. Funding was provided by the Colville National Forest, the Bureau of Land Management, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, the National Park Service, and the Washington Native Plant Society. Top.
